Solarcore Energy was founded to be the exception.

The Nigerian solar market has a systemic problem: too many systems are designed by vendors who start from a price point rather than a load calculation. The result is panels that cannot power what they were sold to power, batteries that fail in three years instead of ten, and customers who conclude that solar simply does not work.
Solar works. Poor engineering does not.
Solarcore Energy was incorporated in 2026 to raise the standard. Every system we design begins with a documented load analysis. Every component we specify is selected against that analysis. Every installation is commissioned with test records. And every client receives a system that is sized for what they actually need — not what fits a particular budget before the engineering has been done.

Founder's Background
A Decade of Engineering Before a Single Panel Was Installed Under the Solarcore Name
Joseph Olubato began his engineering career in the intersection of electrical, telecommunications, and energy systems — designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure for some of Nigeria's most demanding environments. From microwave and fibre transmission networks to hybrid energy systems for telecom sites running 24-hour operations, his work required precision that the solar retail market rarely demands.
Between 2016 and 2025, Joseph's teams commissioned energy systems for over 200 telecom sites across Nigeria, delivered solar installations for homes and businesses across West Africa, and deployed campus-wide infrastructure for Afe Babalola University in Ekiti. Working under Drausnet Limited and subsequently through Difference Maker Solutions Limited, he developed a systematic approach to energy engineering that he now applies — without exception — to every Solarcore project.
The standard we hold ourselves to at Solarcore is the same standard a telecom tower operator holds a contractor to: the system must perform within specification, every time, with documented evidence. That discipline, imported from high-stakes infrastructure into the residential and commercial solar market, is what makes Solarcore different.
